Inquiry Class

Would you like to know more about SPC and the faith we share? Come to the three-part Inquiry Class. This class will be offered on three consecutive Sunday afternoons: Sept. 7, 14, and 21, 4-6pm. Christmas play "auditions"

Sunday, Sept. 7, 2:00-3:00pm, in the Family Life Center. We need actors and singers ages 5 and up (all the way up!). Everyone gets a part , so not auditions in the true sense. Rehearsals most Sundays, 2:00-4:30pm, starting Sept. 14.

Grief support groups

Sandia’s Grief Support Ministry includes GriefShare, weekly support groups for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. We will offer two new 13-week sessions: Wednesdays:  Sept. 10 - Dec. 10; 1:00-3:00pm; and Thursdays: Sept. 11 - Dec. 11; 6:30-8:30pm. Newcomers are welcome at any time. Thursday women's study

The Thursday Women's Study will resume on Sept. 18 at 9:30am, with a 13-week study, Jesus' Fulfillment of Scripture in the Old and New Testaments. All women are welcome! Study guides will be available Sept. 7 and 14 at the Welcome Center in Fellowship Hall ($5.50). Questions? Call Kay McMillan, 828.0181.

Family concert & games

All families are invited to our first Sandia Presbyterian Preschool Fall Festival fundraiser.
When:  Saturday September 27, 5:00-7:00pm
Where:  SPC’s gym and south parking lot

We will have a local Christian band, lots of games with prizes for the children, free popcorn and cookies and much more. Tickets are $5/person or $20/family. All proceeds will help buy classroom and outdoor equipment for the children. To buy tickets, stop by the preschool or e-mail Lorrie at lorriepaul@hotmail.com. You can also buy tickets at the festival. Grab your friends and family, and come enjoy a great evening of fun and fellowship!

David Casson, who left last July to serve as Head Pastor at North Creek Presbyterian Church in the Seattle area.
